1.5 yrs in review
In no particular order....
- Housemates have changed and it has been an amazing ride. We have truly become a family, a family I love and will stand beside through thick and thin no matter what comes our way for decades to come.

- Friendships, both old and new, have ended and people have entered and exited my life. While I mourn the loss of some of those friendships, it is best they ended. I fought the best I could, but in reality, you should not have to fight to keep a friendship alive. Hopefully those that have entered will continue to enrich my life and I can do the same for them.
- Relationships have ended and a new one has begun. I am happy, which is good. It has been a long time since I have been able to say that.
- Jobs have changed (slightly...). I am always working more than I should, that will never change.
- I have gotten sick, better, and sick. Medicine seems to be a practice, not a perfection....I am a work in progress.
- Cyrus has had surgery and been diagnosed with melanoma. He is 11 yrs old now and has been my little warrior since day one. I am scared and feel helpless, but we are doing what we need to do to take care of him. He is my baby and we will get through this.
My cutiepie throughout the years...

- My older brother has gotten married. Yay, Jason and Cynthia! Congrats!

- My younger brother graduated from HS. Yay, Michael! Good Job!

- My two sisters are still kicking but and taking names (did some of you just figure out there are 5 of us...yes...I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and we are all awesome, so watch out.)
- My mother and step father have gone through some of the most trying times in their lives. I still look to my mother as my hero. She is the most amazing person I have ever met. Some of the things she has had to take on and what she has been able to accomplish astounds me. I hope to be 1/2 the woman she is.
- My friends from CO have continued to amaze me with their friendship and devotion. Krismonstor, The Whitney Family, Miss Jessica, The Jasiaks, the Lee-Smith family and others. You mean the world to me. Thank you for always being there. There are those outside CO too - Trisko, the Lee's...you all know who you are!!
- I got older...a lot older. (well, it feels that way) But I am rockin' it!!
- I got LOTS of new shoes. Yay, new shoes!

- I have been pretty active and become quite the advocate of yelp!
- The University of Colorado is now a member of the Pac12 Conference

AND LAST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST.....
- The Boston Bruins are the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions!!

Thanks for the Kat updates! It's been a pretty exciting year. Your roommates are awesome, so is puppyface Cyrus. I laughed out loud when I saw you posted pics of your new shoes. Cute, cute, cute. I'm glad you're my friend and look forward to reading much more about your adventures!
